Sunshine Rehabilitation Centre |
| In 2004 we were confronted by the sight of 50 hungry street boys in Naivasha, Kenya. One boy named Julius asked us what we could do to help them. Working with a local partner we built the Sunshine Rehabilitation Centre which takes children off the streets, arranges education or training and helps them into work. |

| Same boy but different! Joseph Karanja spent many of his early years on the streets. The Sunshine Rehabilitation Centre has transformed his life and he now earns a living as a tailor. |
| Orphaned at the age of 7, Joseph ran away to the streets where he scavenged for food from the rubbish tip at the back of a small hotel. Footsteps took him into the Sunshine Home in 2004, and helped him to take a tailoring training course at the Naivasha Polytechnic. |
| Now has a job and is doing so well that he is saving up to start his own small business, as well as putting aside money to help his elderly grandmother. |
| Joseph is just one of thousands who need to be helped off the streets. Could you afford a small monthly donation to give a street boy a hope and a future? |
