How donations are used |

| Our supporters want to know one thing: does my gift really go to help the people I think it does? |
The answer is: “Yes”. Our trustees visit our projects regularly to ensure that all donations go directly to the people who need help.
In fact, because many people use Gift Aid, for every £1 we receive, more than £1 gets to our projects.
Your donation to our projects will be used for things like food, water, firewood, wages for locally employed staff, education and basic necessities like soap and toothpaste.
We do not pay our trustees, claim our air fares or engage in expensive advertising campaigns. We use Currencies Direct to send money overseas because they give us a good rate, they don’t levy charges, and we can trace the donations to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. |
