Technical Training

Each year, Footsteps helps over 100 trainees learn practical skills and start earning a living.

Juma had little formal education but he grasped his chance to train as a welder at the Naivasha Polytechnic .

He has done so well that he now earns enough to live on and to rent a small house.

40% of Kenyans are unemployed, and young people who can’t afford secondary education have little chance of work unless they can learn a trade.

Footsteps International works with the Naivasha Polytechnic to provide funds to train 100 students a year in skills such as welding, tailoring and IT.

How you can help

A small monthly donation is an investment in a young person ‘s life, giving them the chance to learn a trade and an opportunity to earn a living.
