Education |
 |
| Education is a privilege that children in Kenya don’t want to miss |
|
Poor parents in Africa often have to make hard choices. Do they spend their tiny income on food or on their child’s education?
Very often, it’s the child’s education that suffers. But, missing school lays the foundation for a life of poverty.
Even in countries like Kenya where primary education is supposed to be free, the schools charge for books and equipment which parents have difficulty paying for.
Footsteps provides opportunities to sponsor a child at the Tumaini Primary School which provides a high standard of education for over four hundred poor children from the Timbwani area of Mombasa. |
How you can help |
Could you sponsor one child and change two lives for ever (yours and the child's)?
