Footsteps works with trusted partners in Kenya and Sierra Leone:
Glyn and Jane Davies are English missionaries based in Mombasa. Footsteps International worked jointly with their charity Education for Life to build the Tumaini Centre in Mombasa. Glyn and Jane run the Tumaini School, and oversee the Tumaini Children’s Home, Mombasa.
Charles and Mary Osaleh are the house-parents to the orphans at Tumaini Children’s Home. They manage their extended family with a combination of warm love and military precision!
Rev Simon Kinyanjui is pastor of an Africa Inland Church in Naivasha, as well as the Director of the Naivasha Technical Training Institute (NATETI). He has responsibility for the Sunshine Home which cares for the ex-street boys.
Moses Otieno is Footsteps’ project officer for the Lake Victoria area where he looks after school sponsorship and house-building projects.
Pastor Bernard and Ruth Ndetei work in the Kware slum, Nairobi. They oversee the sewing project based at the Church on the Rock.
Hubert Seifert is Director of APDK, the organisation that runs the centre at Bombolulu where disabled people make wheelchairs.
