Sunshine Home construction

Mission Care has provided funds to build a home for up to 100 street boys.
Footsteps International started the Sunshine Rehabilitation Centre in 2004 to take care of boys who were roaming the streets of Naivasha, Kenya.
Our original buildings were built cheaply and in a hurry and were made of tin sheets over a wooden framework.
Mission Care have worked with us to construct new, block-built dormitories, a dining hall and staff accommodation.

The new buildings have been recognised as an example of best practice by the local Children’s Department.
