Long-term sustainability is a priority on our projects.
Droughts are frequent in Kenya so we are taking action to install gutters and rain water tanks to harvest as much precious rainwater as we can.
We grow some of our own food at the Sunshine Home, and also keep cows for fresh milk.
We are planning to build a greenhouse to increase crop yields and reduce water consumption.
